Laurel Park Postcard

A vintage postcard of beautiful Laurel Park and
the Laurel Park Inn and Beach. Laurel Park was
a thriving tourist town in the 20's, with folks
spending the summer months in this mild climate,
basking in the sun and drinking from the many
natural springs that are abundant in the area.
Jump Off Rock, with its amazing views and
challenging trails will make you understand
why so many folks call Laurel Park their home.
Visit the Town Of Laurel Park website for more info.

CINDY BOCK has lived in Hendersonville for the past 19 years.  Cindy has two children, a daughter, Johnna 15 and a son, Turner, 13.  Cindy lived in Jacksonville, Florida and Tampa, Florida and in New Jersey following her father’s career with General Electric Company.  She visited relatives in the North Carolina Mountains each summer, and moved to Hendersonville in 1979, her senior year of high school.

Cindy graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in marketing, management and graphic design.  She moved to Vail, Colorado for a few years working as a graphic designer for the Avon/Beaver Creek Times.  When returning to Hendersonville, she managed her family’s retail establishment on Historic Main StreetHendersonville, for over 15 years.  Under her management, the Beehive, a Resale Shop, has grown to three stores; Beehive, Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Beehive, Murrell’s Inlet, South Carolina . Cindy also owned a restaurant in Hendersonville for several years, until she found her profession of choice, Real Estate.

Cindy has contributed her time and talents to non-profit organizations most of her adult life, such as Downtown Hendersonville, Inc., Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce, Pardee Hospital Foundation, Partnership for Health and Council on Aging. Cindy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Henderson County Council on Aging.

Cindy served on the Board of the Mountain Community School for five years, serving as Vice President.  Her job as New Facility Chairman for the school resulted in the building of a new 3.7 million dollar campus adjacent to Jackson Park. Cindy was involved in the entire project, from concept and fundraising, to construction and move in of 159 charter school students.

Cindy and her family find these mountains tranquil and soothing, yet exciting and culturally rich, and an ideal place to raise her children. They now proudly call Laurel Park their home.

Cindy’s love for Hendersonville and her long time involvement with groups, individuals and businesses will aid you in your real estate search or find the perfect buyer for your property. She has been very successful in real estate, having sold Mulit-Million dollars in sales.
